It's been a bit of a whirlwind lately but that's how I like my days! I received my large pallet of Organic Gluten Free Oats and already have one batch of granola under my belt. From now on all flavors will be made with Organic Gluten Free Oats. I will make every effort to maintain a gluten free baking space but for those with a serious allergy to gluten I cannot guarantee that there will be zero gluten contamination. For those just wanting to adhere to a gluten free lifestyle for the health benefits, this is GREAT news for you!
Also, on Monday morning we will be starting our limited edition of Pumpkin Spice Granola. I'm hoping to keep this flavor going through Thanksgiving time. This is my son Trevor's absolute favorite kind of granola. It's made with pumpkin seeds (pepitas) and all of the spices that make pumpkin pie so yummy.....cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and allspice. Doesn't that make you feel warm and fuzzy already?
We are also looking forward to a move to our own kitchen space. Lauren, Blake and their three wonderful children could not have made us feel more welcome and at home in their kitchen at The Fireside Restaurant in Ellison Bay. But alas, it is time to move on to a space that fits with our increasing demand (YAY!). We will be announcing the details in the coming weeks.
